The kick off of the main event of the World Series of Poker is expected to be accompanied by some sort of fanfare, such as Las Vegas showgirls or something similar, but this year the 40th anniversary main event was hosted by a big man in a hair suit. As the sponsor of the 2009 WSOP is Jack Links Beef Jerky, it makes a sort of sense that they would use their current mascot, the legendary big foot (which also goes by the name Sasquach) to say Shuffle Up and Deal.
