One of the men who were responsible for Las Vegas becoming the gambling mecca of the world has passed away at the age of 67. Bob Stupak, the builder of the Stratospher and a poker and gambling legend, passed away after fighting a battle with leukemia. Stupak was taught poker by Puggy Pearson and used those skills to win a WSOP bracelet in 1989 in the $5,000 Deuce-to-Seven event. He also took a turn on the High Stakes Poker show and made the final table of the 2003 WPT L.A. Poker Classic
