One of the nonexecutive directors of Party Gaming’s Board of Directors recently quit is role. The Board of Directors has achieved a balance between executive and nonexecutive members now that Emilio Gomez stepped down, according to the official statement of Gomez’s departure from Party Gaming. The news did not include a mention of a replacement for Gomez, which leads to speculation that Party Gaming’s Board of Directors wishes to maintain a parity. Party Gaming is in the midst of a deal with World Poker Tour Enterprises to purchase that company’s brand and assets.
