Annie Duke is continuing to live up to her role as a great promoter of poker and giving back to the community. On November 19, 2009 she will be hosting a charity poker tournament which all proceeds will go to the Decision Education Foundation.
The Celebrity Poker Tournament will take place during the L.A. Poker Open at the Commerce Casino. Some of the celebrities that will attend are Shannon Elizabeth, Scott Ian, and Joe Reitman. No celebrity poker tournament would be complete without a few of the top pro players, so Howard Lederer, Rafe Furst, Andy Bloch, and Dan Harrington will represent some of the best talent in poker.
This event is open to the public, so anyone willing to put up the $330 buy in can attend. There will also be re-buys and add-ons which is sure to give the event a ton of excitement. The event will be showcased in style with a red carpet entrance at 7 pm and the tournament starting at 8 pm. Over $30,000 in prizes and giveaway will be awarded throughout the tournament.
